6 And he swore by him that liveth for ever and ever, that created the heaven and the things that are therein, and the earth and the things that are therein, and the sea, and the things that are therein, Time would be no more.
CommentaryTime is something fascinating. In scientific areas it has brought much to speak because in reality the concept of time is difficult to understand. Many have asked, just like gravity, if it actually exists. Time is described by some as the indefinite continuous progress of events in the present and future past, or Period determined during which an action is performed or an event unfolds. Time however has been found to have physical properties! And that is not constant either! That is, it can vary. Depending on our position and speed. Time may seem to move faster or slower with respect to others in a different part of space-time, for astronauts on the International Space Station, that means they can grow to age only a little slower than people on Earth due to the dilated time. More surprisingly if an astronaut enters a ship that moves at the speed of light when returning to the planet earth after decades of traveling, for him for would be only months! (Relativism)
Romans 11:33 O depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! 34 For who hath understood the mind of the Lord? Or who was your counselor? All this was calculated and prepared with exactitude by God, nothing is occurrence, coincidence or result of chance, but God himself ordered it.
Many people think that time only occurred, that is to say it occurs naturally. Time was created by God just like space. Empty space and matter was a creation of God , these three were created simultaneously
Genesis 1: 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Since God has no beginning this relates to the creation of time itself; The heavens is the creation of space and the earth the creation of matter. We should note that unlike what science proposed, the earth was the first matter created, then the sun, the moon, the stars and their corresponding planets were created; This makes the earth the center of the universe when it comes to creation. It was necessary to create these three simultaneously, since if you create space without time “when would you create it? And if you create matter without space, where would you put it? So God did everything exactly.
Going back to time, the bible gives us an exact time measure.
Genesis 1: 5 And God called the light Day, and called darkness the night. And the evening and the morning were one day.
Here we see the measure of time that came to be a day, composed of afternoon and morning, or 24 hours. These were not periods of thousands of years or millions as many want to propose to coincide with the science that erroneously proposes billions of years to this planet, these were literal days.
Genesis 8:11 And the dove returned to him in the evening; And behold, he had a leaf of an olive tree in his beak; And Noah understood that the waters had withdrawn from the earth.
We see that here says “afternoon time” this “afternoon” is the same word that we find in genesis when it says was the afternoon and the morning a day, reinforcing that are literal days and hours as we know them today. The name of the days is an invention of man, in the Bible days were numbered 1 to 7 By this we see that it says: “was the first day of the week”. The week is composed of this 7 days, then months, years and millennia we see clearly described in the bible as measures of time. The abode of God, however, resides in eternity a domain where there is no time, and one day the time itself will cease (Revelation 10: 6) and we will live with it in eternity.
Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty one that dwelleth in everlasting, and whose name is the Holy One: I dwell in high and holy places, and with the humble and lowly in spirit, to make alive the spirit of the saints. Humble, and to revive the hearts of the brokenhearted.
Being God sees time in its three states simultaneously and not in separate forms of present and future past, how? He is God.
